My Story
When I was introduced to Scentsy, I was a full time nursing student, acting as a single parent while my husband, Will, was in Iraq. I had purchased a few items from a Basket Party that my friend was having in another state. When my products arrived, I was in love. Will and I were just beginning the process of our second international adoption and I thought that maybe Scentsy would bring in a little extra money to help with the financial portion of the adoption. It was not part of the "plan" to become my own boss, work minimal hours, have a phenomonal time working, take my daughter with me to work, go on every field trip with her, and have an outstanding team. It was also not part of the "plan" that Will would love the products either. I had been in the medical field for 16 years and knew nothing except 12 hour shifts, three days per week and Will had put 23 years into the United States Army. Will had the assumption that Scentsy was, in his own words, "a fly by night deal". That was in 2008 and needless to say, he doesn't feel that way anymore. I will tell you that Scentsy is my part time job with full time pay, allowing me to enjoy my family and my life. I am blessed with the amazing people that I have met and I would encourage anyone, anywhere to give Scentsy a shot and join our team!
